Jackie had no idea why she was so embarrassed, she blushed, still staring out the window. "Sure..." her voice a higher octave and she winced oh how stupid she sounded, being so self conscious. Hugging herself to try to keep warm, she swallowed hard, not really knowing if she was breathing or not. James just took her breath away, never feeling like this before. Wasn't Jacqueline McCormick suppose to be the over confident, bitch slut cheerleader everyone loved and envied?

James glanced over at Jackie as he put the car in gear. "Okay... are you okay?" He asked with a frown. He was a little nervous, girlfriends was never his thing but he wanted Jackie to work out. Pulling out he looked towards the road. "Do you want me to take you home, or you want to come to my place?" He asked. [/blockquote]

"YES" she replied to fast and to eagerly. Turning bright red she looked out the window again. "I'm just really cold" she whined, still shivering, "my cheer uniform isn't the best when its all wet..." though she had done cheer in so many football games in the rain, she should be use to it. Turning to look at his eyes, though he was driving, her heart skipped beats, she was really in love with him. "You believe in love at first sight?" she asked, looking down at his hand, her fingers intertwining in them.

"Okay, Okay." He laughed softly. "Cold is bad, hold on." He added as he fiddled with the heater, making sure that warm air was coming out. Keeping his eyes on the road, feeling her fingers wind with his. "Love at first sight? Um, yeah. My parents were, well are, an example. Met when they were fifteen and still going strong. Though I don't see them at all." He replied with a small shrug, taking a glance at her. [/blockquote]

She looked at their hands together and smiled to herself. "Must be nice at least...to have parents, even if you don't see them much..." she left it like that, not really having to explain her past to him, nobody knew about her parents, not even Cynthia or Anthony, for all they know she was a happy girl in Las Vegas before moving to New York. "I don't know if I believe in love in first sight..." the 't' sounding out a little longer than it should of, she was confused, butterflies in her stomach, she just didn't want to leave James, what was wrong with her to be obsessing over a guy.
