Who knows how long Jaqueline McCormick was in a coma, nor did she care. Her breathing had become stable and the tubes in her nose uncomfortable. She winced in discomfort, trying to roll over with no prevail. Her eyelids were like anvils, unable to pry themselves open. The only sound of the monitor over head. So she was in a hospital, Jackie gathered that much, her weak attempt to leave this world had failed, but didn't mean she would try again.
Wanting brush the hair out of her face, Jackie attempted to lift her left arm, but once again, it stayed on her side. "what the..." her thoughts said, but only a mumble came out of her mouth. Was this normal, was this what death was all about, or perhaps she had gone to hell, a more appropriate place for the queen bitch herself.

Anthony's frantic voice rang outside as he begged to let him and Cyn to see JackJack. Finally he just pushed passed. They had been there everyday, nonly difference was....Cynthia's ring finger. He sat down by JackJack, and frowned, resorting to tears again, as he held his best friends hand, caressing it. The only benefical thing was that Angel Axel was in jail, but only on a count of a DWI on an empty road, and nothing else. How the hell had the police missed the evidence of what happened to Cynthia that day? [/blockquote]

Jackie laid there, becoming frustrated that she wasn't able to move. Another grunt escaping her lips as she screamed to see if she could get someones attention. The tubes were really uncomfortable now and making it hard to breath.
Feeling something warm on her own cold frozen hand, she grunted, trying to move it to squeeze the flesh upon hers. Instead her body jumped forward onto the sheets. Frightened, she tried to control her muscles, but they were not responding. Her breathing became uneasy, the tubes hurting and stinging more as before as her body jerked again uncontrollably.
Thinking hard of what to do as her limp motionless body convulsed into spasms, Jackie though she just needed more heroine, her body going through denial. "HEY...HEY..." she attempted to scream, but only gasps escaped her lips this time.
The nurses ran in, pushing Anthony to the side. "Get out of here" they ordered, but didn't wait to see if he left before they yanked off her robe, her naked body in full exposure as they injected a huge needle into Jackie's heart, more doctors coming in. Jackie screamed in agony, but this time nothing came out of her mouth. This must be worst then hell, laying there motionless, but being able to hear your surroundings.

Cynthia followed Tony as he pushed passed the nurses, whispering her apologies. Her brown eyes grew wider at the sight of JackJack, feeling tears springing to her eyes. She stood near the doorway, feeling herself grow small, as she watched JackJack spasm. She watched as the doctors trying to handle her and make her calm down. [/blockquote]

Anthony cried, finally letting go after a few minutes. "Love you JackJack." He whispered to her, biting his lip, what was wrong with him? He knew the people he would hurt tonight, or rather the person he would as he stood up and walked to Cynthia pulling her aside. He kissed her. "Cynthia...please.....understand that I love you, but I cant hurt both of us. I need a break. I'm calling it off." He told her. "I cant think straight anymore. So much has happened. I'm sorry. I need time to be alone, to think." He lowered his head, and didnt wait for her answer and started to walk away. [/blockquote]

Tony brought her out of her own misery but her slight happiness didn't last long as she listened to what he had to say. Her heart dropped but she nodded, tears disappearing. She shrugged as if it didn't matter and slipped off the ring off. "Here you go." She declared with a smirk. "Tell Jackie I'll be back later." She added as she turned gracefully. "It's going to be too crowded, I want to see her alone." and with that she stepped out of the room, phone in hand as she quickly text Jackie's true love... James Anderson. Telling him the 411 on JackJack and he should get to the hospital pronto. With that she smiled to the nurse and stepped outside. [/blockquote]

James entered the hospital, tired from a night of no sleep. He was completely thankful for Cynthia's text telling him where Jackie was. He walked slowly, his hands deep in his pockets as he wandered slowly further inside. His hazel eyes fell on a gift shop and he slipped in. He had no idea what to get. There were baby cards and he was tempted to get one, but decided against it. Grabbing a Get Well Soon card. He stood outside her room, debating whether or not to go in. [/blockquote]

Jackie's eyes burst open, a loud high pitch scream of agony escaping her wind pipes. Her breathing became heavy looking at the lights that were blinding her, the only sensation she had was pain. She was definitely in hell, never in her life had she felt so horrible. Wanting to curl her legs into herself, wanting to be in the fetal position so badly, the feeling in her muscles were back. She pulled, fighting with the restrains on her ankles and wrists. "Let me go" she cried, tears rolling down her cheek. "LET ME GO" she screamed, trying to pull herself away.
Once the doctors noticed she was awake, the nurse injected something into her IV drip, cleaned her off and covered her up, looking decent again and one by one left the room, leaving the restraints. Jackie tried to fight the sleep that came over her, not wanting to go into the dark again, but unable to resist. "James..." she muttered, closing her eyes and darkness taking her once more.

James flinched when he heard Jackie scream. Was she really in that much pain. He gulped and looked down at his pathetic card, thinking it was most definitely not good enough. She needed... something to hold. But he wanted to be the only thing she held. He was lucky that Sid could never hear his thoughts, James would be so screwed if he did.
The nurses and doctors left the room slowly, far too slowly for James' liking. He impatiently waited till they all left. Slipping in and closing the door behind him. Yes, James was being selfish in wanting to be the only one in the room. Only one Jackie wanted. As he slipped into the chair right next to the bed, he heard his name escape her lips before she fell asleep. It made him smile and feel warmer than he has been for the last couple of days. He took her hand, lightly running his thumb over her knuckles, wanting to tell her that he was here and he wasn't ever going to leave again. Not ever.
His phone vibrated and he ignored the call, only focused on Jackie. Still holding her hand, he rested his head against the edge of her bed, closing his eyes. All he wanted was Jackie to be better, to be healthy, to be alive. "Jackie McCormick, I love you." He whispered, not even knowing if she heard him. He didn't care, he planned on repeating it when she awake and was able to register that he was there. [/blockquote]

Jackie slowly opened her eyes, her mouth dry and uncomfortable. She mummbled, blinking to adjust to the light that burn her dialated eyes. "water..." she muttered, hoping someone was there. Chills hit her hard as she began to shiver, wishing that her hands were free so she could cuddle, the withdraw was worst then the first time she quit.
Struggling with the restrains, she felt a hand by hers and quickly pulled it away, unable to focus and not knowing who it was. SHe was aware she was in the hospital, and not dead, but her body needed a substance to feel better, which she was neglected of. Tears slowly rolled down her dry cold cheeks, feeling the pain, the longing of wishing she was dead.

James' hazel eyes drifted open when he heard Jackie's voice. He was only asleep for a moment, his body needed some rest. He glanced around, looking for the water she wanted. He saw a glass on the table next to him with a straw in it. He grabbed it and looked to Jackie. He carefully held the glass to her lips, not pouring yet, waiting for her to register that he was there. "Jackie? Baby, I want to drink slowly and carefully. I'm not really suppose to be in here but I'm here anyway. I know, I know I'm babbling but please just drink slowly and... and... Jackie..." He paused unsure if he should say or not. But she had to know, whether or not she was going to reject him. "Jackie I love you and I'm sorry for everything. I was a jerk and prick and don't deserve you. But Jackie I can't... can't live without you... please... just... " [/blockquote]

Jackie pulled on the restraints again, her wrist starting to ache from the attempt, but feeling the straw on her lips, she chugged quickly, not listening to James. The cold liquid soothed her dry throat, but drinking to quickly and laying down she began to gag, a coughing fit.
Her eyes slowly began to focus as she continued to cough, feeling nauseous from the lack of substance, she couldn't help it and threw up all over herself. Jackie felt like she was in a horror film, closing her eyes, wishing all this would go away.
"I don't want you to see me like this" she turned her head, feeling ashamed, though her heart was beating rather quickly and the monitor overhead proved the speed increasing. Another coughing fit started up, tears rolling down her eyes once more, sure the nurses would be there to clean her off and kick James out of the room. "I don't want you to go..." she said quickly, hearing the nob on the door being pushed, but not opening.

James's frowned when she said she didn't want him to see her like that. A bit too late but James nodded, slowly heading towards the door, the nurses trying to rush him out. But he didn't want to leave, and he was hurting inside to see Jackie this bad. He glanced back, almost smiling when she didn't want him to go. He shrugged the nurses arms off and resumed his seat. "See the beautiful patient doesn't want me to leave. So Bugger off. What the patient says... in this case at least... goes." He retorted. [/blockquote]

Jackie pulled on the restrains again, making her wrist "Get these things off me!" she barked, fighting with the nurse. "James...James don't go" she began to freak out, not able to see the love of her life. She had no idea how he found out where she was or who found her in the greenhouse, but he was there and she didn't want to lose him again. "Get off me bitch!" she attempted to kick, but the restrains on her ankles didn't permit it. "AHH" she scream in pain, another sedative being added to the IV "No...NO I DON'T WANT TO SLEEP AGA-" it was cut off, she wasn't able to finish the word, but laid there like a lump on a log, but at least conscious.
