Selena-Rose Matthews for the first time this year, entered the school's library with her messenger bag on her shoulder and her books in her hand. The heels of her brown boots thudded against the room's carpet as she looked around. There was an empty table in the back corner and she took it instantly, not recognizing anyone else in the library.
She pulled out, Rereading America, her English textbook by Robert Cullen. She flipped open to the place she had bookmarked and started to read. She had her highlighter in hand to highlight the important text that she thought would be good to know. [/blockquote]

Matt had been at St. Gregory's for only an hour but he still couldn't find Lena. He had asked some people and searched. He wanted it to kind of be a surprise but if she wasn't even here, what fun would this be? Matt dug his hands in his pockets and continued his aimless walking. He didn't know the school and he was sure he was lost. Matt was trying to get to the library. Lena did liked to read and someone had said they saw her before. Hopefully the person was right.
Matt finally found the library and slowly walked in. His face looked disgusted. Matt hated reading and he really never set foot in a library unless he had to. Which of course wasn't often. It was quiet and he smiled at some students that had looked at him when he came him. He made his way to the back when he didn't see Selena and smirked when he did see her. She was reading. He walked up to the table she was sitting at and sat across from her," I have been wandering around this school for awhile and finally found what I am looking for" he said casually. Eyeying Lena. Waiting for her response. [/blockquote]

Selena was trying to concentrate on the book in her hands, the story was actually interesting but it was important to have it finished and annotated by her next class period. She had rehearsal that afternoon, so no time to actually do homework so it was important to get it done. She did notice a figure sit down but didn't acknowledge them. Probably just another freshman trying to get her attention.
But they did speak, a deep male voice that seem vaguely familiar. Her blue eyes shot up from her book, slowly going wide at the person before her. "Matt? Ohmigod, what are you doing here? I thought you were stuck in the U.K." She squealed as quietly as she could. Excitement slowly building in her stomach. [/blockquote]

Matt smiled as Lena squealed when she saw him. Of course she was surprised to see him. He shrugged,” You know I never really liked it over there and I missed my favorite girl.” he pouted,” You left me there with all those crazy people Lena.” Matt didn’t have too many friends to begin with. He was more of the loner type and when Selena had left to go here, it was just so much worse. He sighed,” I missed you.” he said softly and smiled.
He leaned back in his chair and put his hands behind his head,” So I told my mum and dad that I was leaving and going to America. They weren’t too happy but I don’t care.” He smirked at the thought,” My first time in America and it’s a pretty cool place.” He thought of all the attractive girls he had seen but the best part was seeing Selena. He also thought he could have a better career and life here. No parents and no UK. [/blockquote]

Selena nodded slowly, know that Matt was never really happy in jolly ol' England. "Awe when did I upgrade to your Favorite girl? I did have some serious competition back in London. How's Harriet?" She teased. The one thing she did enjoy, was teasing Matt about all the girls he tends to flirt with. Some actually manage to become his girlfriend, but they did last long.
"How is Mumsey Dear and Popsicle?" She asked giggling softly. Matt's parents weren't the nicest, at least not to her anyway. But because they were Matt's parents, she kept her mouth shut most of the time. A great accomplishment for her. "Well I'm glad your here, my school year just got better." [/blockquote]

Matt smirked,” Oh you have always been my favorite Lena.” Then his face fell,” Another reason why I was edging to come here. She won’t leave me alone.” His face lit up again,” Though I can’t blame her. Why wouldn’t she want to be with me?” He winked at Lena. Matt thought highly of himself, while some people thought the complete opposite about him.
Matt rolled his eyes,” Oh they have just been the sweetest, best parents ever!” He said sarcastically. Not a lot of people liked his parents and he couldn’t blame them. He wasn’t too fond of them either. He could tell Lena didn’t like them either but she usually didn’t say anything,” I was ready to push my dad off the roof. Wants me to be a lawyer like him and act like a gentlemen and blah blah. The bastard wouldn’t leave me alone.” He growled but then smiled when Lena said she was glad to see him and her year got better,” Same here princess.” he smiled at her. [/blockquote]

"The sweetest parents ever!" She laughed her nose wrinkling as she did so. "Awe, you would make a very handsome Lawyer!" She joked, laughing harder. The one of many things she did know was the fact that Matt never wanted to be like his father.
Selena gave a small smile. "So Harry is becoming a stalker? Knew I hated her." She added as she brushed her hair out of her eyes. [/blockquote]

Matt laughed as she did,” They should get an award for being such great parents!” Matt started at her for a minute. Giving her an are-you-serious, look. Then he shook his head,” Thanks but being a lawyer is just not my thing.” Matt never wanted to be like his father. In fact he wanted to be they exact opposite of what his father was,” Besides it would make my father happy and I don’t want that.” He gave a light chuckle.
Matt groaned and then nodded,” She is! She was sad that I was leaving but it sucks to be her now doesn’t it.” Matt paused,” Then again. I wouldn’t be surprised if she came over here to see me. I didn’t tell her where but… she’ll probably ask my mum or dad.” he sighed. [/blockquote]

"Awe yes, Happy parents are always a burden." She retorted with a small smirk. Selena's nose wrinkled and shook her head. "She was never nice to me. Played pranks on me whenever she could. At least I knew how to get her back. Do you remember when I managed to dye her hair that hideous shade of green?" She giggled at the memory. She leaned back in her seat, balancing on the back legs. Matt nodded,” Yes. Best things now is I am away from them. I even brought my own apartment.” His smile widened at the thought. Matt raised an eyebrow,” Was she ever nice to anyone? Oh yes I remember that.” He said, laughing at the thought of it,” She totally flipped out. Best prank Lena. I’ve taught you well.” He winked at her and then leaned forward,” So enough about my b!tchy parents and stalkers. What about you? You like it here?” He asked. He hadn’t heard from her and he was tired of talking about himself. [/blockquote]

"You've taught me well? Pfft! I'm a leader not a follower." She replied as she rested her feet up against the table. "Um... yes I do like it here. My teachers are helping me towards my goal of Julliard. I've been singing now stop, and dancing as much as I can. I also snag myself a boyfriend." She added but she instantly placed her pinkie nail in her mouth and started to nibble at the mention of Sid. [/blockquote]

Matt rolled his eyes,” Ha! You’d be nothing without me. Don’t deny it.” he said half teasing and half trying to sound like it was true. He did teach Lena some thinks but she also taught him a lot. He would just never say it. Like Lena had just said, Matt was also a leader and not a follower. Matt nodded,” That’s awesome Lena. You do have an amazing voice and your dancing is great too! Unlike me who can’t dance to save his life.” Then she mentioned that she got a boyfriend,” A boyfriend, really? Has he been good to you Lena? I don’t have to whack some sense into him?” It may sound like he was teasing but he was telling the truth. Lena was like his sister. Anyone messed with her, messed with him. [/blockquote]

"Uh huh, whatever. Keep telling yourself that." She retorted as she stuck out her tongue at him. Brushing her hair out of bright blue eyes as she shrugged softly, "I grew up with him, so he knows not to piss me off." She added with a smile. Matt was always a good friend, if anything she knew that she could always depend on him. [/blockquote]

Matt stuck his tongue back at her,” Nope it’s true. Just stop denying it and agree with me.” he grinned at her. Matt eyed her carefully and then nodded,” Ah okay. What’s his name. Sorry if I am sounding stalker-ish.” He paused and then added,” And I am not going to go after him or anything.” he said jokingly,” If you say he’s good…” He leaned back in his chair again. [/blockquote]

Selena laughed, "Never! I would never agree with that statement, not even if its my only way to live." She added through her laughter. "His name is Sid Phillips and no you don't sound like a stalker, just an older brother. I think I like you better than my actual older brother." [/blockquote]
