Selena-Rose Matthews walked slowly down the main stair leading into the Great Hall. She wore a dress of her mother's design, it was deep scarlet, the bodice formed around her body perfectly as the silk skirt flow flirtatiously around her thighs. The hem was cut just below her knee. Her hair was loosely curled, forming into a messy bun on the right side of her neck, just below her ear. Her bangs fell elegantly over her eyes.
Reaching the bottom of the stair and glance around. The Great Hall was decorated in Blue and Silver, the school colors. She sighed, not seeing anyone she knew. [/blockquote]

Keira didn’t do dances as a rule; the thought of some spotty nosed teen groping, the fact you had to dress up, the falseness- it was all bravado to get your leg over, end of. Even so, she’d gritted her teeth and made the effort just this once- a first and a last. Dressed in a cream, flowing silk dress that plunged at both the front and back, and touched her knees she looked more than satisfactory for this sort of thing. Gold, relatively high sandals tapped on the floor as she found the quietest place possible and ironically the ideal place one would go if they didn’t want to get spotted- perfect. No zit faced, pervert could bother her and she was loving it as she eyed the place. All this effort just to provide lays, seemed pointless. Crossing her arms over her chest, making sure her arms at least cut off a large portion of her cleavage, she leaned idly against the wall behind her, bronze covered eyelids closing as she tried to prepare herself for the façade everyone was about to put on.
"What a load of rubbish" it came out quiet, and the underlying injection of distaste was there.

Typically making an appearance at a dance wasn't his idea of fun, this year was suppose to be good at least, he figured since he only heard about the game from gossip he should at least show up to the dance. He was alone this time out, typically he thought things like this were overrated and thus hadn't asked anyone to go. If nothing else, he looked nice in his nearly totally black outfit. He, however, showed off slight school pride with a blue tie. It all fit loosely, falling only slightly over his black shoes in a bit of a bag. His clothes were off the rack, nothing really special about them.
He stood to the side, and watched over the crowd curiously. This school was a bit renown for their 'active' students. At least, that's what he assumed from what he heard. Tonight was going to be one big 'try to impress the opposite gender' fest, or even in some cases the same. River sighed, he probably wouldn't stay long.

Gwen hated dancing. Don't ask her why she decided to go. She approached the Dinning Hall with her boots dragging. She could still make a run for it. Then she would have gotten dressed up for nothing. Gwen thought her new outfit was kind of cute. She had brought it before she came here. Her mother had told her to get some dresses and skirts like that. Gwen had but they weren't what her mother had in mind. Her blond, almost white, hair wwas in curls. People said they liked it better that way. People also told her they liked Gwens hair dirty blond and not died over and over again. Like ghost hair.
The actually homecoming game was pretty good. Ya she didn't meet anyone but she had an overall good day. The dance just might ruin it. The Dinning Hall look nice, with all the decorations put up and stuff. Maybe this time she'll meet someone. She eyed some studenst. There weren't many here yet. None were dancing and some look bored. Maybe there will be someone to make this party a bit better. [/blockquote]

Matt walked into the Dinning Hall slowly. Looking around. He wore black pants and a nice white shirt. Nothing to fancy. His hair was slicked back with gell. It was his second time actually in the Dinning Hall. He smiled and winked at a couple of young girls who giggle. He eyed Selena standing alone and stared at her for a minute. She looked beautiful. He smirked and walked over to her," Well, well. Look at this." He smiled at her," You look very beautiful." He grabbed her hand gently and kissed it before letting it go," Having....fun?" Searching for the right word. It seemed...dull so far. [/blockquote]

Selena looked up to see Matt walk towards her. Thank goodness, she knew someone. "Hey!" She smiled as a small blush appeared on her face. "Thanks. I try." She replied as she brushed her hair out of her eyes. [/blockquote]

Matt smiled,” Anytime. Besides you look beautiful everyday.” He winked at her and looked around the Dinning Hall,” Nice place. He eyed everyone,” Might have to spike the punch later though… this dance needs more excitement.” His eyes where now looking at everyone else in the dinning hall. Then his green eyes drifted back to Lena,” Don’t you agree?” he asked softly. [/blockquote]
