Surprised, good, she liked not being predictable. Getting in, she didn't bother buckling up for once and merely set about changing in the car. Of course, not literally, just slipping a shirt on, her hoodie; there was nothing she could do about her shorts but while her legs looked like hers she hadn't anything to worry about. When finished, she looked out of the window, wishing for nothing more than to be back home. England was green for the most part and in short the most beautiful thing she could ever see. Paris may have it's glamor but nothing beat home.

Alex had half watched the road and half watched her as she changed. That wasnt fair. She did that on purpose... He thought to himself, and glanced on ocassion -soothgingly over to her, with real perhaps caring eyes, to which he rolled. This wasnt Alex, and he was hating it. He was losing his touch. "Tell me about England." He inquired gently as he stopped at a traffic light. [/blockquote]

"What do you care, hot shot?" She frowned, sighing softly before looking over "it's home," she paused, eying him and then looking back out of the window. Slowly, Keira shook her head "it's the most beautiful place in the world. So green..the smell of summer in the morning" she smiled a little "nothing compares really. I'm not an outcast there" she shrugged, resting her head on the glass "shut up, Larkin, stop trying to get into my knickers. It's none of your business anyway" though it should have come out sharply, it didn't- nothing ever did when the thought of home was on her mind. Most people had a weakness and England, well England was hers. When home was brought up the soft natured, kind true side came on show. It was vulnerable admittedly but it was innocent, unique and certainly more precious than anything else.

He smiled gently, actually smiled as oppose to his customary smirk. He relaxed as she told him about England. At least she had a family, a place where she was welcomed, a place she could go back to. "It must be beautiful...the history to is just well...great..." He spoke softly, and deeply blushed. "Er....I mean....I dont care. I dont...I have no reason to." He tried to cover up his 'mistake.' Damn the Englishwomen! She was making him...soft. [/blockquote]

Keira looked over, smiling just slightly "sure you don't" she spoke sceptically, and obviously so "everyone goes on about London but it's further up north; Sheffield, Nottingham- they get left out far too much or used for the basics of fairytales" she shrugged, looking back "my mum always said look outside the box; see the bigger picture, the beauty in the less obvious places" frowning, she placed her head back on the window, fingertip trailing down "she never did listen to her own advice" she didn't have the family he assumed she had and her last statement proved as much.

"I'm sorry." He listened carefully and slapped himself mentally. He was grateful he found a cafe, finally. The drive had been a half hour. Since when did Alex Larkin care about anyone, but sex and himself? He got out of the car and tried to quickly think of something that would remind her of how much of a git he was. He opend her door for her. "Come on...cheer up peckerwood. Be grateful I havent laid you..." He paused. "Yet." He stared as he held the door open. Furiously growling in his mind, then why the hell had he just done a random act of kindness. He huffed away from her and walked into the cafe shaking his head. [/blockquote]

"Don't be. She's dead, I'm over it" she muttered coldly. Of course she wasn't but telling herself that repeatedly made her in someway believe it. She got out, before he slammed the door in her face and any bit of gratitude dropped off her face. Keira shook her head, grateful she'd grabbed her bag beforehand "you're disgusting, vulgar, and frankly, I wouldn't even bother lowering myself to tea with you" she hastily slammed the door with probably too much force and shoved the bag on her shoulder. Screw that, that was uncalled for. Looking around she turned on her still green decked heels and marched off.
Tosser.

Alex growled, not beliving the next step he was going to do. He ran after her and held his hands out in front of himself. "Then stop....weakening me..." His voice a plea. "Ever since I've talked to you, you've softened me up, and made me...a....I dont know, whatever, and I do things that I normally dont do, because I'm portrayed as nothing more then a sex, porno, rich, to dressed, cocky arrogant git!" He tossed his hands up in the air. "When really I'm actually quite frankly passionate, and kind, and really...." His lip curled up, and he shuddered. He danced frustrated. "Society portrays an image...and I follow it." He rubbed his temples. [/blockquote]

"Why? Because I don't have my head rammed up my arse? I'm sorry, okay! I'll try to be more considerate when I'm around you and falsify myself just so you don't have to act bloody human" it got her blood boiling unfortunately, the second the wind hit her face it cooled. Long, blonde hair blowing behind her before she shook her head "look" she stepped up to him, placing her hands on his shoulders "you don't have to lie, or follow anything. Be yourself, thats the best you can do in life. The minute you start lying is the minute you let yourself down" she dropped her hands, stuffing them into her pockets "but I'm sorry, I'll leave you be, and your fake self" turning, she tried walking away again, sadness written on her face and really, he didn't deserve it. Stopping someone not far from him she smiled gently "could you tell me where the bus stop is? I need to get home" home, that was a joke.

He watched her as his mouth flew agape. His ego considerably dropped. He narrowed his eyes at her, and shook his head, marching up to them. "In about forty five minutes." The other guy seemed in defeat and walked away. "You cannot just say something positive to me, and walk away." He grasped her shoulders like she did to him. "And the moment you start talking is the moment I start caring..." He removed his hands, and bit his lip confused and uncertain. "Please reconsider having tea with me?" He pouted softly. "I know I dont deserve it, but give me credit for trying." That hint of a bloody smile came on his lips. [/blockquote]

She swore, Keira swore outright and the minute it came from her lips she didn't care. She wanted to go home was that too much to ask? She shook her head "I can say what I like, and I can do what I please" she muttered, bare legs feeling the cold brushing against them. She braced herself when he grabbed her, sighing and eventually looking up at him "I shouldn't need to speak for you to care; my words hold no merit to grant them the pleasure of interest or to be taken in" she pointed out softly. She looked to her left before looking back. Cafe meant warmth. Slowly she nodded before grabbing his hand "you lead, I'm lost."

"Your wise..." He told her and, "Your cold..." He shrugged his jacket off with one arm and slid it over her shoulders. A tiny smile came across his lips as she grabbed his hand. The walk had been a block, which wasnt much, but at least she wouldnt be getting sick in the morning, as he would be inflicted with all kinds...lovesick...common flu...perhaps.
He seated them down at a table, and ordered a chocolate lattee with just a hint of mint flavoring. "What would you like?" He asked her, genuinuely...maintaing the distance between them by sitting down on the other side. [/blockquote]

"I'm young, thank you though" she shrugged, smiling a little. The warmth of his jacket was welcomed as she was sure her signs of courtesy were also "ah, so there is a gentleman there. Thank you, it's a different kind of cold here, I really should get used to it, shouldn't I?" She'd get sick anyway, with the difference in weather and her body not used to it she'd no doubt be burdened with a cold soon enough.
Sitting down she rubbed her hands together gently, warming them up before actually paying attention "tea would be lovely" stereotypically British to a fault. Tea in the morning, tea in the evening, and tea in between. Allowing herself to lean forward. once the waitress hurried off, she watched him "so, just dance or does the infamous Alex have other classes?" Keira was here for four things: dance, singing, acting, and to escape the media attention and vultures.

He blushed, and laughed. "I love your accent. Its cute." He spoke in his own British accent, perfect imitation, from his years of theater. He ignored her compliment..comment..whatever of him being a gentlemen. "Dance...history...thats it really." He shrugged, and smiled as his coffee came and her tea came. He purred. Warmth! He gently held her hands and rubbed them together in his. "Yeah...it gets really cold her...the only part about this country I hate." [/blockquote]

Keira blushed, clearing her throat to avoid embarrassment "it's annoying, everyone can spot it a mile off. It's so..soo...la de-da and posh" she rolled her eyes before laughing "and apparently easily imitated. Very good, I applaud you, or I would if I could" she laughed again gently. Keira had that grace of an angel, and the tone of one too. She quiet, caring without intention and soothing. She grinned "history buff, eh? It left a horrid taste in my mouth back home, so dull, Hitler was so heinous and yet we're forced to read his teachings; beyond reason" Kia paused to thank the waitress for her tea, the steam already bringing the colour back to her cheeks. She smiled at him rubbing her hands, though his weren't exactly warm either "yeah, but I guess your used to it now."
