His crimson cheeks turned a more red when she smiled at him and gently slid his hands out of hers as he leaned back drinking his coffee. He merely nodded. "Yeah...winter is so much fun though." His smirk widened incredibly. If one saw them, they would have said that the two were good friends. Alex heaved a soft sigh. [/blockquote]

Keira leaned back, hands now cupping the mug, skin warming up quicker. Slowly, a delicate eyebrow raised and an uncharacteristic smirk lightly pulled on her plump lips "how so? You're making it sound interesting with that smirk so details, Mr. Larkin" she could have snickered but that would have taken the edge straight off the purr to her voice. She may not have acted like this usually but there was no denying the enjoyment of it. Blowing lightly on the brew she lowered her lips to it before taking a drink, hot liquid hitting the spots she needed it too.

"You kidding me? Snowboarding, skiing, snowfights, snowmen, hot cocoa everyday, sledding. Iceskating, hockey. Nothing could ever be better." His smirk widened and he ordered a cup of hot chocolate. [/blockquote]

Keira snickered "ever nicked off with house signs and gone down hills? Best part of winter and the snow" she nodded "it's better than just buying a sledge because you know in a few hours someone's going to be ranting about chavs stealing stuff." Taking another sip she looked back up "but I doubt I'll be here in the winter; never been in one school longer than a few months and what with preparation for the Spring show in Paris" she trailed off "yeah.."

Alex's smile faltered and was replaced by a frown. She wasnt going to be here in the winter? She was going to Paris? Then why did he even try and be...nice...be...a friend, he quickly recovered, and cursed in his brain. The depression already setting in. "Fun..." He mumbled, sipping at his hot chocolate. Keira shrugged "Christmas with the French, turkey with anorexic bitches; you get used to it" she kicked his leg lightly under the table with a smile "cheer up, chicken, you've got me for a little while yet so get used to carrying my weight around. You're teaching me to sh-wing, right?" she tilted her help, tugging her lip cutely. Setting her cup down she eyed him "so, stuffy dances, they're not mandatory, are they?" She'd successfully avoided every school function the whole of her life and she wasn't going to start failing now. The last prom back home was by far the best; dressed up, date by her side and yet, she ran. She ran straight down passed the school, called a taxi to pick her up and drove around, using her father's money to spite him, until it was due to finish and then went home. Result, he thought she went, she spent the day without gits surrounding her and totaled quite a bill in doing so.

"Ouch..." He laughed and rubbed his leg. "I am cheered up, I just...care..." He said it slowly as if he had never really said the word before. "Thats all." He shrugged and looked at her. "No, they arent mandatory, but I'll be there most likely." Well, maybe not. Normally when he went to a dance it was always to fuck someone over, Alex...didnt feel like that. Damn Cynthia, his first real girlfriend, and she ditched him for that damn Saprio, and Cat was out of the question, because she dispised him to absolutely no end now when he accidently let it slipped he loved her. Maybe he did need to screw someone over? [/blockquote]

"Oh please" she laughed "I hardly touched you, you big baby" Kia teased, grinning before shaking her head lightly "care? The ice appears to be melting, no?" Nodding, she picked up her cup again "good, I'm not going" she paused, curious look on her face "why? Why would you honestly subject yourself to an evening with dressed up idiots? The whole things is absurd in any country" she spoke with a lot of dislike and if anything, if you take into account the look on her face, it appeared that the whole thing seemed alien to her. Sipping her drink, she frowned "an excuse to be part of a circus if you ask me" she muttered.

"But let me ask you this..." Alex mused, thoughtful, "How could you be passionate about dancing and not go to a dance?" He titled his head off to the side and looked at her. "I understand your point though, but we go out and have mexican food if you want?" He had to stiffle a smirk at this. So Mr. Larkin was actually going to ask her out, eh? [/blockquote]

"Because" she paused, setting the cup down "because a dance is about getting your leg over and dancing is about telling a story, or showing your feelings. There's no ulterior motive aside from that" she smiled with a shrug. Keira shook her head, didn't take him long but more time with him would have been pleasant "deal, no dresses, no suits and no dancing, promise?" Offering a hand to shake to strike a deal she looked him dead in the eyes; platonic, couldn't have been plainer.

"Deal." Alex smirked and shook her hand, "Where do you want to go now?" If she wasnt going to be here just[ in case, then why not date her now. Today. He stood up and paid the bill, elegantly tossing his scarf over his neck, and waited for her response. [/blockquote]

Keira smiled at him, taking her hand back and getting to her feet. Looking at him with a raised brow she looked a little sheepish "I have absolutely no idea" she hadn't been here long, how was she supposed to know where to go? Looking back at her bag she pursed her lips for a second and then glanced out of the window "I better change, hold up a second" she said before darting off to the bathroom.

Alex nodded and waited, sighing. He felt slightly nervous. Hmm...maybe...Chinese food. Or Red Robins. Hmm...sounded so good. Any food to him sounded so good. [/blockquote]

Shorts weren’t for walking around outside in that was for sure however, jeans were and that’s what currently donned her long legs. Forty-four inches of leg were, of course, aided further by polka dot open toe pumps making her a good six footer. Strolling out, she swung her kit bag over her shoulder and walked behind him, tapping him lightly on the shoulder, his jacket held out. Obviously, she wouldn’t need it now and he would freeze outside. She could only apologise for the faint smell of her perfume lingering on the fabric with a sheepish smile. Setting the jacket on the counter she shrugged, biting her lip "I gotta go, dad thing, but I'll see you around" she smiled, squeezing the strap of her bag before eying the door "just remember what I told you, okay?" Nodding sightly in approval she left.
